How Paradise Bottled Water is responding to the COVID-19:
Since the first reports of the COVID-19 virus were diagnosed in the United States in January, Paradise Bottled Water has been working to ensure that we are prepared. Paradise Bottled Water’s number one priority is the health and safety of our participants, families, staff, and partners.
Paradise Bottled Water is taking precautionary measures, following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which has released guidelines for employers and businesses to contain the spread of the virus.
Right now, our main focus is prevention. We are acting with an abundance of caution, reinforcing our policies and procedures for contagious illness with clients and staff. These include reminders about hygiene and safe practices; washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; staying home when sick; frequently disinfecting public areas, program settings, and workspaces; and limiting potential exposure to the virus by reducing travel and meetings in large groups.
Paradise Bottled Water has also taken appropriate measures to be prepared for a possible outbreak. Our team is actively reviewing updates from the CDC, Benton-Franklin Health District, and Washington State Department of Health. We are prepared to follow their recommendations for our businesses and mission programs as situations develop; potentially this could include modifying or canceling programs and events to prevent the spread of disease. Especially in the event of a confirmed case of COVID-19, we would act in full compliance with these authorities.
Out of care and concern for our participants, families, and staff, we hope no one gets sick. We will continue to work hard at providing needed services to our community while making sure we do our part to protect their health and well-being. We appreciate your cooperation and support as we continue to help one another.
